Michigan State Game

Luke asked for Michigan State tickets for Christmas. He was able to go with Ryan, Levi and Grandpa Koopmans. They were all decked out in their State gear and had a great time!

Christmas Break

                                             We had a fun time over Christmas Break!

Traditional Fricano's Pizza over Christmas Break. Took a ride to Grand Haven to see the big waves.

Luke got glasses!

We did a 1000 piece Michigan puzzle.

The kids got new helmets for sledding.

We went to Soaring Eagle with the Koopmans. Always a fun time together!

Levi Orchestra Concert

Levi had his first cello concert this year. He played about 10 songs and the last one was in the dark with glow sticks. He does not practice much but they sounded really good!

Christmas 2019

We had a fun Christmas with really warm temperatures and no snow. We had Maci sick on Christmas and Levi and Maci both home for the Koopmans Christmas party with sore throat, fever and headaches. The weather was sunny and 55-60 degrees!

Maci said a line in the church program on Sunday. And Lo the angel of the Lord upon them and the glory of the Lord shone round about them. She did great!

We hosted Roedema Christmas so warm and sunny. We had a bonfire outside.

Nutcracker Ballet

We went to the Nutcracker Ballet with Grandma Roedema and the older cousins. We had fun taking pictures and going to the show. They were not sure what to think at first but ended up liking the program. Maci liked the Russian dancers the best and Levi like the toy soldiers. We went to get hot chocolate after wards and then went to the Amway to look at the big Christmas tree.

December Events

We went to the Coopersville Santa Claus parade. It was a pretty mild night we had a chance to try chesnuts and did not like them very much. We had hot chocolate and a donut. We had the kids meet the Grinch. Caleb was scared at first but then was ok when he saw that he had candy.

We also had the last Preschool Program of the kids at West Side Chr. Caleb was proud and sang the songs well. His favorite song was called the Star of Bethlehem.

Levi 5th grade Basketball

Levi and his friends from school have been playing basket ball through the YMCA. They practice once a week and games are on Saturday.

They have been learning a lot and Levi has been gaining confidence on the court. They have not won a game yet though! Hopefully they will by the end of the season there is a few more games.
