Maci's Kindergarten Graduation

Maci is on to first grade. She had a great year and learned so much. She was tearful to let kindergarten go but we know she is really ready for first grade! We love you Maci!!

Luke Turns Five!

Luke has been counting down the days till five for forever!! It finally happened and he is five and so excited. He wanted BBQ chicken and corn on the cob for his birthday, two of his favorite things. He requested brownie with ice cream for desert. He had a special birthday donut in the morning and patiently waited all afternoon to open his presents once the kids got home from school. He is a sweet, funny, cuddler, nature loving, happy boy.

Levi Turns Nine

Levi is nine. So hard to believe how grown up he is getting. He loves soccer, school and reading. He likes helping Ryan, doing puzzles, swimming and is a great help and big brother most of the time.He still likes snuggling with his mom and dad at night and getting tucked in..so that is what we do.  He wanted a fit bit for his birthday and we got him that, a off brand one he was so excited. He also got alot of Under Armour gear, rubic cube and a new soccer ball. He wanted a cake with blue frosting and a steak dinner he got it all. So he was king this weekend  for sure. We had the grandparents over for  a  breakfast party for Levi and Luke to celebrate them both. They got more presents, puzzles, clothes and an electric scooter from G/G Koopmans that will be for all the kids to share.

Awards and Field Trips

We spent a lot of time at school the last couple of weeks. Maci got chosen to read at the last chapel of the school year the kindergarten led the chapel and she did great. She practiced and practiced her part of the worship. I also went on a field trip to the museum with Maci's class. Levi got two certificates at the Elementary Awards Ceremony. He got one for best penmenship in the grade and also for his art.

Luke Preschool Graduation

Luke was in the first graduating class of Nature Based Preschool at West Side Christian. What a fun and exciting year it has been for him. He had grown up so much and learned a lot! We are so proud of him. He did great at his graduation, singing songs and getting his certificate. He started crying in the car and did not want to leave, we went back inside and said some more good bye and he felt better.
