Upper Peninsula Trip

 We had a great time away in the U.P! We went to Pictured Rocks and the surrounding areas. We stayed in a cabin in Grand Marias and got to revisit where Ryan and I got engaged. We had Grandpa and Grandma Roedema stay with us in the cabin for one night and they took us out for pizza and rode with us on the Rip Tide Ride to see the Pictured Rocks up close. We went on many hikes and saw many piers and amazing views of the Lake Superior. We had perfect weather too. We did have a 2 hour delay getting over the bridge because of an accident though. The kids were at a perfect age because of all the driving between spots. We went to Munsing, Marquette, Newberry, Soo Locks and Petoskey.

Father's Day 2021

 

Maci Dance Recital

 What a different end of year dance recital we had this year.  The recital was held outside behind the dance studio and we brought our chairs to watch. We were thinking the rain was going to hold off but it did not. The girls had to dance under a tent on stage. We were soaking wet even under our umbrellas. Maci still had fun but she said she did not dance as well as she could. She was afraid of slipping! We went to get ice cream afterwards to celebrate a crazy night!

Levi 13- Luke-9- Happy Birthday!

We had a busy start of June as it always is. School ending and birthday celebrations for Levi and Luke. Luke got an early birthday present a dirt bike just for him. We are running out of space to ride as more houses are being built in our neighborhood. We celebrated part of Luke's birthday swimming and celebrating Grandma Koopmans birthday too.

Levi went on a shopping trip with Grandma and Grandpa Roedema to the outlet mall.

Luke wanted the biggest chocolate cake we could find!
