Other January Highlights

Maci got glasses for reading and school work

Ice skating with Grandma and Grandpa Koopmans

Nature Walk At Millenum Park

Snow Days

We had quite the historical stretch of snow days this past week 4 days off because of snow, blowing and very cold wind chills up to -25. We were home bound and spent a lot of time together. It is sure nice to have Ryan home to help break up fights and help keep the kids entertained. We spent time doing games, puzzles, cleaning, cooking, playing video games and crafts. We could not go outside because of the very cold temperatures!

A surprise cousin sleepover!

Snow slurpies

Mother's Tea

Grandville had a mother daughter tea. We had all the girl cousins, aunt and Grandma come. It was a freezing cold day! We walked to different vendors in Grandville and got goodies at each stop. We also had tea and breakfast served to us too and a trolley ride. It was a fun morning.

Luke Star Student

Luke had a special visitor to his classroom..Rosco. He had been waiting all year for his chance to bring Rosco in to show his class. He has told many stories about Rosco and his teacher also has the same kind of dog! Rosco did tricks and let the kids pet him. He also had fun eating the crumbs off the classroom floor.

Christmas Season 2018

Christmas eve excitement

Maci was so excited to leave Michigan..to go to Indiana :)

We hosted Christmas this year. Lots of cousins!!

Christmas Chapel

Preschool Christmas Program..hard to see Caleb praying

Rosco

Some updated pictures of Rosco. The big event this month was that he got "fixed" over Christmas break. He finally got his cone off and is back to his normal self. The kids still love him and he will tell them when he has had enough. He is full grown now too.

Sits and watches you eat, no barking though so that is good by me.

Ryan's buddy

Levi and Luke took him for a walk down the dirt road..then they got to give him a bath.

Happy Birthday cake to Erin

Playground Duty

I have been doing playground duty for the last couple of years. Caleb has been my helper. I like to see the kids in action and took pictures of the verses on the playground equipment as a good reminder the other day. Hopefully, good verses to try to memorize this year. This was in December, so warm and little snow this year.
