Art Prize

We took a break from the afternoon routine at home and went downtown to Art Prize. I actually still can believe we made it downtown. We have not gone to Art Prize every as a family. So this was a first. We were not there long but had fun walking around. The kids liked being in the "city", seeing all the dogs and buses and some art too :)

Caleb is persistent and strong willed! He wanted to wear this costume in the bath tub.

Buddies

First Days of School

We are back to school, back to routine and back to early bedtimes. The kids have been tired but adjusting ok. Maci is loving kindergarten and Levi feels like second grade is super hard. Luke had no problem with his first day of  nature preschool, he loved it. The second day it was rainy so he got to try out his Muddy Buddy suit. The bugs were terrible and he got bit up all over his face.Caleb and I are home on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings. What a change of pace, he is a good boy and is going to get to love grocery shopping! Ryan did not have to go to school until later this week because repairs were still being done on the school so he got to bring Luke to preschool and also help the kids get on the bus a few of the first mornings.

Maci Turns 6

Happy Birthday Maci! What a big girl she is now. She is so special to us and is growing up so fast. Maci is tall and is taller than her brothers were at this age. We celebrated at home with a steak dinner and pink cake. Maci is really looking forward to kindergarten and is being super brave about going. She loves to color, read books, ride her scooter and play dolls. She likes to take bubble baths and put on moms lotions after a long day too!

We went to Meijers and got free cake pops from Starbucks! What a treat!
