Dunes Harbor Camping

We bought at trailer and drove to Howell to pick it up. What a first adventure, learning how to hook it up and driving 2 hours home! We packed a cooler for supper because there was no stopping once we were rolling! We were about 15 min on the road and realized they did not give us the key to the trailer. We did have to pull over and wait for them to bring us the keys..The kids were all really good, but so excited. What a long day! Our first trip was to Dunes Harbor Family camp by Silver Lake. The campground was not very full and had a really nice pool with a cool slide. We had a really nice time. We learned that the trailer had a water leak so no water during this trip but once we were home we got it all taken care of. So we should be all set next time. The kids loved sleeping in their bunks, and just relaxing and spending time together. Caleb acted like he was a a big kid sleeping in his bunk all night long! We had great weather again and were blessed by our time there. We met some very helpful people to answer our trailer questions too.

We were just spending an evening out at the Lake when Ryan pulled into the Dune Ride place and said he had to go to the bathroom. The kids were so surprised when he came out with tickets! S
