American Girl Surprise

 We have been attempting to be as normal as we can this fall. However, its not the same as falls in the past. No sports for us, no Wednesday night church activities. It leaves some space in the calendar and that has been okay. We had a Chicago girls trip planned to American Girl this past spring, we cancelled this trip too. This past weekend Grandma had the girls over for a Fall Tea, little did the girls know that they were getting an American Girl doll that day. It was a fun morning. They were so surprised!

Fall Camping at Dune Harbor

A beautiful weekend to spend outside. We took the kids out of school on Friday and headed up on Thursday afternoon. We usually go to Pioneer Park this weekend but all their Halloween Activities were cancelled. It was 70's and sunny, warm enough even to go swimming.

It was a great escape from all the happenings here at home.

 

New School Rules for 2020-2021

 We have to screen and fill out a form every morning with questions related to kids health. Kids in all grades now are required to wear a mask in the classroom. They do not have to wear masks out side for playground but the make it so kids from different grades aren't mixing with each other.  Also, masks on the bus and hand sanitizer before entering and leaving the classroom no parents or visitors in the school. They are trying to have kids outside in the garden or learning outside as much as possible but that gets harder as the weather gets colder. They all have adjusted fairly well and we are happy that they can be in school. Some schools are only offering virtual options for learning. Every week school gives us an update as far as who has tested positive for COVID and students and staff that are out due to quarantine.

Fall afternoon at Blanford

 Levi had symptoms of COVID..sore throat and headache so we all spend a couple days at home while awaiting his COVID test to come back. It was a warm fall day so we went on a hike to Blandford. COVID test was negative and all went back to school the next day.

Maci's Turned 10! Friends birthday party

 Maci was so excited to have her friends over to celebrate her 10th birthday. We had pizza, presents, cupcakes, craft, bonfire, karaoke, smores and rides on Big Red. It was a perfect fall night to celebrate Maci!
