Boys Annual Camping Trip

This year Ryan changed up the annual boys camping trip to also a dirt bike riding trip to Whiskey Creek Campground. What a lot of work to get the boys packed up for a few nights! The had a lot of rain but still made the best of it. Going out for pizza for dinner and taking a long trail ride back to the tent site. They swam in the the indoor pool and also went to Ludington one morning for breakfast to get out of the rain for awhile too.  Maci and I stayed back home and spent time together shopping and getting our nails done, and getting some of our favorite treats. The boys rode a lot of trails and were very tired coming back home!

Maci Dance Retical

June also always brings Maci's end of year dance recital. The theme for this year was Tea Party and the song she danced to was Fireflies. She got up on stage with a big smile on her face and looks like she is having fun and not nervous! It is fun to watch! We are proud of her!

Levi- 15 and Luke -11

Hard to believe how big these boys are getting. Levi had some friends over for his birthday after a class pool party. It was different not seeing him on his birthday till about 830 at night! They played basketball and sang happy birthday to him. What a fun group of friends! Luke and Caleb both got hover board attachments for their birthdays and were excited to open them. Both the grandparents came over to celebrate these cool boys. I am so grateful to be their mom!

Levi Theodore 8th Grade Graduation

What a great night! We loved watching Levi graduate and we are so proud of him. We had mixed emotions as he closes this chapter at West Side and on to Calvin Chr. Ryan was able to sit with staff this year too as he watched Levi get his diploma, play his cello for a last time and sing with the choir. We are so thankful for this school and the grandparents, friends and family that support our kids as we raise them!

6th Grade Camp- Maci

Maci spent her last week at school at 6th grade camp at Grace Adventures. I was able to come along as nurse for the 6th graders at the camp. It was a hot week! We did the  2 mile dune hike together and also did the Mac Dune Ride together too. I was glad not to have any big medical problems while there! One of my favorite memories was just watching Maci have fun with all her friends..boys and girls and also how she tackled the rope course. She did not even seem scared! I only spent one night and I was ready to head home!

So hot on dune hike- 90 degree day!
