Back to School 2017
This year we have a 3rd grader, 1st grader and Young 5. Caleb is home with mom. Caleb has been bribed all summer that once he is potty trained he can go to school. Well, what do know, a day after he saw the school bus with the other kids on it he has been standing up and peeing in the toliet! Crazy kid. It has been nice to be back to a routine but the kids are tired and we are all adjusting to waking up early and being on time!
Maci Turns Seven
Maci had a very fun few days around her birthday! She attended Kenowa Hills Dance Camp and performed at a Varsity Football game and had a birthday party with her friends. We had the grandparents over for pizza and presents and then went to watch her dance at the game together. It was a beautiful night to be with family and to be outside celebrating. The following night she had a birthday party and end of summer celebration at her friends house.
Ear Piercing
As part of Maci's seventh birthday we went and got her ears pierced. She has been talking about this for a long time! We invited cousins to go to. It was a fun day with cousins and Aunts to celebrate this milestone.
Total Eclipse
We were late on getting the eye glasses for the eclipse. So instead we made cereal viewers to protect our eyes. Not as cool, or as fun. The kids wished they could have seen it better and Maci called me a bad mom because she will never to be able to see this in a very long time! She threw it on the ground. We ended up watching some of it live on TV and could tell that it got a little weird with the sunlight and cooler.

Holland State Park Camping
We made our second camping trip of the summer to Holland State Park. We had a little rain on our first day and decieded to go to Dutch Village with some free passes the kids earned from summer reading at the library. The afternoon cleared up and we had perfect camping weather after that warmer days and cool nights for fires.
