corona go away

Extended stay at home order till 6/12. We did go up to Half Moon for Memorial day and it was a beautiful weekend to get out and see family. We are only supposed to gather in groups of ten or less and maintain all the social distancing guidelines. We had Grandma and Grandpa Roedema over for breakfast on Saturday. The kids are officially done with school and had visits to say good bye from their teachers. A nice ending to a weird year. It is very hard to know what next school year might look like..

Bringing Rosco to the groomers. He was very shaggy and got buzzed.

Grandma tried to buzz him down a little bit so that he was cooler.

Corona Virus

Mother's Day
We spent more time at home on a rainy, cold and dreary Mother's day. Ryan made me omlette for breakfast and recorded at cute video of the kids saying what they liked about me as their mom. We face timed Grandma Koopmans and had quick visit to Grandma Roedema. No hugging this Mother's Day. The Stay at home order has been extended to May 28. They are asking nurses to take voluntary leaves of absence since offices and surgeries have not been open since March.

Covid days

We spent a beautiful weekend outside and enjoying the sun and warmer weather. What a great way to recharge and somewhat forget what is going on in these crazy times. The kids spent hours playing in the field which is technically not our property. We had a lot rain and a stream and water kept them busy for hours. They played together and in the mud. It was nice to see them being so creative.

We went on a longer hike to Ottawa Sands Park. The kids were not super thrilled about this one. We did see a bald eagles nest. We all made it back to the car and in the end they were proud of how far they walked.

Rosco got to meet his new cousin Teddy.

covid continues

April 30- Happy 15 year anniversary to us! We are still learning at home and things can be crazy sometimes.  It has been 7 weeks already. I have been doing Zoom Bible study on Wednesday nights and it is nice to connect and see friends from church. Grandpa and Grandma Roedema stopped by today and dropped off a flower, cake and champane to celebrate! We will have steaks on the grill. It will be really good! (P.S. Maci typed it will be really good!)
