Both our cars hit a milestone in the last couple of weeks...

                                     

Rosy Mound

We spent the last day of Christmas Break getting out of the house and outside to Rosy Mound Nature Preserve. We had fun as a family on a sunny, warm 42 degree day with no snow, in January! Crazy. The kids did great till the end where they got tired. There are a lot stairs on the this hike too!

2017

We spent the last night of 2016 at home, playing games, eating snacks and watching home videos. All of course not without some fighting between the kids! What kind of excitement will 2017 to the Koopmans' family?

Christmas 2016

We waited in anticipation of Christmas! Christmas Eve I was suppose to work so we were all home that day and ready. We made cookies, we made a snow man and tried to keep busy until the evening. Where then we ate pizza, got in our sleeping bags watched a Christmas movie. The kids were so excited this year and had a lot questions about Santa and when he would be coming. We opened presents and then were able to all go to church together on Christmas morning. We spent the rest of the day cleaning up and playing with all the new things.

      Making cookies. We did not eat too many since the dough was handled a lot, The knife with frosting was licked and Caleb had a cough and snot. But I reassured the kids Santa would love them!

Big gift for all the kids this year was a digital keyboard piano with headphones!
