First Day of School 2020-2021

A very different start to school this fall with many schools having different plans in place for COVID. Many schools doing virtual learning at home and not having kids in school at all. We are thankful that West Side is letting kids go to school They have masks and new rules with social distancing and cleaning. All the kids are excited to go back. Hopefully school will remain open!

The boys had some time with one on one time with Dad at the Ice Cream Garage. The biked all the way from our house!

Not a very sunny day but sunflowers always remind of school and fall. We have been planting them since the kids were little!

Are the animals sad or happy to have some down time while all the kids are in school?

My last baby to head to Kindergarten. He was very brave but nervous to go school. We had a calendar for counting down the days till he went. Ryan took him to meet his teacher and see his classroom.

The Lord has got them in His Hand! Theme verse for this year at West Side
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Maci turns 10 Years Old

Happy 10th birthday to Maci. We had fun celebrating her. Levi and I went shopping together one night and picked out some cool cat and macaroon earrings for her; two of her favorite things. We also found and Eiffel tower jewelry holder.  Maci got a camera and will have a birthday party with her friends soon! She had her first day of school on her birthday and brought root beer float pops for her class and then had to go to the ortho to get her expander on!

Celebrated with at Uncle Casey's house with cousins

Grandma and Grandpa Roedema took Maci out for her special day to breakfast, to chocolate factory and out to Grand Haven to see the waves.
