Blandford Walk

We have made an effort to get outside and walk as a family on Sunday afternoons. We have a membership to Blandford and thought we would take Rosco along for his first visit. It was a beautiful fall day.

New School Year 2018-2019

 The first day of school home on the couch after a power outage at school. What a surprise!!

A Rainy first day

Luke started Kindergarten a few rough mornings. Not sure he likes the all day every day.

Caleb started Nature Preschool. Two days a week. He sure misses his brothers and sister when they are gone. He entertains Rosco though and is a good dog trainer.

Other Summer Outings

We tried to fit it all in towards the end of summer with the Grand Rapids Public Museum, ice cream, Dutch Village,and Fredrick Meijer Gardens. The kids all have been enjoying lots of dirt bike riding in the trails Ryan made in the back of house. We only had one major crash with Caleb and Levi..they were both pretty beat up.

Rosco

On August 25, 2018. the kids dream came true and we got a puppy. Luke has been dreaming about this day for a long time. So much so that he had been dreaming that all his stuff animal dogs would come to life. We had been looking for awhile on re homing sites and at shelters and decided to bite the bullet and get a puppy. He is a older puppy when we got him at 4 months born on Levi's birthday. He is a Havaton. A mix of a Havense and Coton De Tulear. The kids love him very much and have taken on the normal responsibilities of having a new pet. Not to say that it has not been some getting used too having a new puppy especially when I am home all day with him. Rosco gets so excited when the bus pulls up and Ryan comes home to play. The transition has not been too bad. He sleeps well in his crate and rarely barks. He over all seem like a great addition to our family.

Maci Turns Eight

Maci is such a special part of our family and we had fun celebrating her eighth birthday. She puts up with her brothers and loves them too. She loves to read and to dance. She loves rainy days and to bake. She tells good jokes and has her dad's sense of humor. She is always up for smiles and selfies. Maci had the best birthday because on her birthday we went to pick up our new puppy Rosco. So exciting!!

One of trips the kids look forward to the most. We love Dunes Harbor and always seem to have fun time and memories there. Since the camping trip before this was such a bust we tried to fit in a lot over a few days!
