Country Basket 2104

We made our annual trip to the Country Basket yesterday afternoon. It was a beautiful sunny day and warm too. We got donuts and pumpkins which we will carve later this weekend. Maci and Levi were so excited to go. Maci even colored a picture for the farmer and gave it too him. Maci loved the bunnies and kitty cat. Luke had fun chasing the bunnies around in their pen, until he fell into their water bowl...oops. Levi spent alot of time looking at all the pumpkins and he wanted to pick the smallest and best one for Caleb. We ordered pizza that night for supper..it was a fun night with the family!

First Lost Tooth

Levi lost his first tooth this week. He went to the dentist this week too and thought maybe the dentist would pull his tooth out...but instead dad did!  The tooth was just hanging on and so wiggly and Levi just kept playing with it. So before supper the other night out it came. He was so excited and relieved it was gone. The tooth fairy made her first of many more appearances that night too.

School Days 2104

It has been a great start to the school year for Levi and Maci. Levi started all day kindergarten and Maci started preschool on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Levi loves school and has no problems getting on the bus. He is starting to read and Loves science. Levi has been star student and I have come to his class to read a book and give out his treat choice...Oreos! He is ready to learn and is more confident than last year.Maci also enjoys preschool and wishes she could go everyday! She likes that Daddy picks her and Levi up on the days that she has school.She is writing her name and recognizing letters.

Mileage Club Winner

We are so proud of Levi! He ran the overall most miles of the K-5 grade during recess for the month of September. Over 16 miles! No wonder why he is tired at night. Every time he runs a mile he gets a plastic foot to put on his shoe lace to mark that mile. He got to eat breakfast with the winners and the gym teacher and got a certificate. Go Levi!

 

Caleb 3 Months Old

Caleb is talking and laughing more and more. He is sleeping a good part of the night from 8 to about or 3 am. He loves being held and interacted with. He will smile at you all day long if you are looking at him. He seems like he is drinking his milk all the time and that is why he is filling out and looking bigger and chubbier! The pictures below with Caleb and the kids were taken by Levi and Maci on a Sunday afternoon and I love how they turned out..they are pretty good photographers!

Horse Ride

Maci loves horses. So earlier this month Grandma Roedema took her to ride Tinkerbell at Aunt Rose's farm. She had a fun morning in the barn at the farm. She got to brush the horse and even got the horse to gallop. She loved telling me how fast she got the horse to go and that she was very brave!
