Two Pictures to Treasure...

When reading a Christamas Story the other night I wanted to capture the moment...I asked Ryan to take a picture...What a "real moment" with my special kids!

Luke Ryan is 6 months old

I can hardly believe that 6 months has already past since Luke was born. He is becoming quite the little stud. He is so easy to make smile and bounces all the time. He loves his jumperoo and now is getting more into the exersaucer too. He is close to sitting up on his own he still needs a little help keeping his balance. Luke's bottom two teeth have poked through too. He has been fussy some days but Tylenol does help. He chews on everything and everything goes in his mouth. He has been loving gnawing on crackers and a cold sippy cup. He sleeps up to 12 hours at night and loves kicking in his bathtub. Levi is the best at making him laugh and both him and Maci love interaction and "playing" with Bokie..as they call him.

Levi's Favorite...Legos and Peanut Butter and Jelly

Levi loves Legos and his quiet time in the afternoon is usually spent with Legos. I can't say that they are my favorite thing but I do get some pointers from him when I am trying to build something with him. He has a whole binder of instruction manuals and him and Ryan enjoy doing this together. Levi wanted me to take pictures of him playing with these.

Levi also loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He could eat them everyday. One day he asked if he could try to make his own sandwich. So now he likes to do this alot..he needs some help with spreading but he loves trying.

Halloween 2012

All three ready to go to Trunk and Treat and church. Super Dad brought them all while I was working.

 So excited on Halloween. They were up till 10 pm from the candy. Levi like handing out candy. But not to the 'big kids". They both got scared of a warewolf and boys dressed up in all black.

Luke 5 Months Old

What! Luke is 5 months already...where has the time gone. He is getting so big. He loves to talk..screech..and smile. Luke is getting into sitting up and looking around instead of lying down. He puts everything in his mouth. He will sit in his bumbo chair and watch Levi and Maci play. He listens to books that are read by Levi and Maci. They will also "teach" him how to do things...like make puzzles, play cars or play with a certain toy. He is eating a bit of baby food and loves it. We are also still feeding him rice cereal.

Luke's Baptism

 

 

Levi waited a long time for cake. He wanted the flower and the cross frosting.

 

Luke was baptized this past Sunday. The day was also shared with Wesley. What a special day to celebrate these boys and the blessings of family. Levi and Maci did well up front..a little restless but no fighting..or talking which was good.  :) We had a lunch in the church basement afterward with both sides of the family. Casey had a nice prayer before we ate lunch. We will continue to raise Luke in our home to love and serve Jesus.. We all were tired out after a busy morning. Luke took a long nap that afternoon.

 

 

Levi loves helping daddy in the garage. This past month or so they have been tinkering after supper on a project together. Ryan and Levi will go out in the garage and have been building a wooden semi truck with a trailer. Ryan found the instructions on line and Levi approved it. It turned out awesome! I think that they were both pretty proud of them selves. They even painted it together. What an great memory to have. After they were done Maci asked...where's my truck dadda?
