Halloween 2023

Luke Football Player and Caleb- Ninja

 A snowy and cold Halloween this year. The boys went out with Ryan and Maci and I stayed in. Levi went over to a friends house. Still lots of candy to be sorted!

 

Running Club

 Ryan was a a coach for West Side Christians running club this fall. Caleb and Luke were there at after school on Mondays and Wednesday practicing for a 5 k race that is s fundraiser for the school. It was fun having dad be the coach. It was a beautiful warm fall morning for the Donut Dash 5 K. Luke, Caleb, Levi and Ryan all ran the 5 K through the Blandford Highlands. They all were able to finish the race and get medals too. It was hard work but it was a proud moment to finish strong.

Maci 7th Grade Volleyball

 Maci had a great volleyball season. She had fun with her friends and improved a lot with her volleyball skills. She really got the hang of serving the ball. One of the chants the girls did was UNO, DOS, TRES, ace! They spend one night watching CCHS varsity play volleyball and also a time a coaches house watching a movie and having pizza.  All the girls were very encouraging to each other!

Levi JV Soccer Calvin Chr Highschool

 Levi tried out and made the JV soccer team. It has been fun to watch them play and so far have won every game. He plays mid field and does alot of running! Ended the season with one tie and one loss. It was a warm fall and we had no games with rain. It was a fun season!

 We had a busy few weeks getting ready for the start of school. With supplies, meetings and learning new schedules.

Maci Jean Turns 13

 We are so blessed to have Maci in our family. She is thoughtful, funny and caring. She is now a teenager! I can't believe how she has grown up already! She had a dinner out with Grandpa and Grandma Roedema to PF Changs and then we celebrated her at home with a steak dinner and presents. She brought Prime drink to her class for her birthday treat on a very hot 90 degree day at the start of school.
