4 weeks of busy nights for Session 1 drivers ed and he passed. Ryan and I went on a parent drive and Levi did great!

Caberfee Ski Trip New Year's Eve 2022

 We gave the family gift this year of going for a few days to a cabin near Baldwin over New Years. We also had a day planned to go skiing at Caberfee Resort. We were worried we would not be able to go because of the forecast of rain and warm temperatures- 35-40 degrees. It ended up not being that snowy but we were still able to go on a very foggy and warm day. The slopes were not very busy and we had a lot of fun. Caleb got hit and slid underneath the big chair lift so that was a memory. Everyone improved on their skiing and mothers even went down the bigger hill a few times.  We also invited Grandma and Grandpa Koopmans up to Baldwin for bowling and to watch some football games. We had fun spending the day with them. Ryan took us on a walk on some dirt biking trails and we watch movies and played games too. 

Christmas 2022

 We had a memorable Christmas in 2022. We had so much snow and wind- it was a blizzard with 10- 12 inches of snow. Christmas Eve and Christmas services were cancelled and people were told to stay off the roads for driving. It was too windy and cold to be outside to even play in the snow. We did end up having both the Koopmans and Roedema parties later in the week.

Florida Girls Trip

We took some time out of the cold and busy December to go to the beach and the warmer temperatures in Florida. We had a flight delay leaving Grand Rapids and then a delay getting off the plane in Grand Rapids coming home but despite this we had a great few days away with mom and sisters. We were able to stay at the Alles home right near the beach in Siesta Key. We we got home just before Christmas and the blizzard which brought 10 in of snow.
