Spring Break 2022- Smokey Mountain Adventure

 We had a fun and activity packed few days visiting the Ark Encounter and then heading to the Smokey Mountains for Spring Break. We did see one bear cub!

Late Winter Fun

Luke and Maci finished up Wednesday nights at church with the Derby Race racing the cars they made. This was Maci's last Wednesday night as she will going on to Youth Group next year! 

                                              Maci also got her second round of braces on! 

It was a very long winter into Spring. Boys gearing up for school!

Luke Immerse Week

 Luke spent the week at the Grand Rapids Public Museum learning all about the different exhibits and studying there. I got to meet up with him on the last day and got to hear about about his favorite exhibits and all what is learned. He had some pretty cool facts to share!

Luke Pioneer Days and Museum Week

 Luke loves history and took the opportunity to be a volunteer at Blandford Nature Center in their pioneer cabin with some other 3rd grade students. He was the only boy that signed up but was able to talk to the visitors that came about life a boy in the pioneer times. He helped start the fire for the wood stove and then helped make cookies for those that stopped by. He also got to spend a week for school at the Grand Rapids Public Museum for Immerse week. We spent one afternoon together as he showed me his favorite exhibits and tidbits of information that he learned during the week. He did have to miss two days of the museum week as all four kids and mom had a terrible stomach flu that lasted 2 days!

Caleb Lost His Teeth

 We have been waiting a long time for Caleb to lose his front teeth. They have been wiggly for awhile.  He was playing with Maci after supper and lost one of the front ones..and swallowed it! Not long after that the second one came out too! The last child to not be a "baby" anymore.

Boys Basketball

 Caleb and Luke played basketball at West Catholic this winter with some friends from school. Levi played basketball with West Side Christian friends through the YMCA. They had some fun and close games to watch. 

Skiing with Dad

 The kids were on mid winter break and Ryan was brave and adventurous to take all the kids skiing by himself while I was at work. The went up to Caberfee and spent the whole day skiing. Levi had been skiing once before but for everyone else it was their first time. They had a lot of fun and learned quickly. The were tired though after a long day outside.
