Maci Dance Recital
What a different end of year dance recital we had this year. The recital was held outside behind the dance studio and we brought our chairs to watch. We were thinking the rain was going to hold off but it did not. The girls had to dance under a tent on stage. We were soaking wet even under our umbrellas. Maci still had fun but she said she did not dance as well as she could. She was afraid of slipping! We went to get ice cream afterwards to celebrate a crazy night!

End of school 2021
What a year it has been and what an accomplishment to make it through this crazy pandemic year! The kids were so brave to go into school not knowing what it was going to be like and then seeing how different parts of the school day were. The teachers made it as normal as possible for them. We are thankful we were able to have school in person as some schools had their school on line on computers.
Kindergarten Celebration for Caleb
The end of kindergarten looked at little different for Caleb than the other kids. There was no graduation but a celebration. The kids sang songs, did a craft and had a snack and said goodbye to their teachers. Only parents could attend this too. We are so proud of Caleb! He is an amazing reader and so funny and kind to others. Off to first grade he goes!
Spring 2021
Maci worked hard on her state project for 4th grade- South Carolina. She had a great power point and a very colorful display!
Spring 2021
Things are starting to feel a bit more normal as more people have gotten their COVID vaccine and the sun is shinning more with warmer temperatures. The COVID numbers surged again for a bit this spring and by May had started going downward again. Ryan and I both ended up getting our vaccines too. What a strange feeling to be in stores and church with out a mask. It has been over a year! The kids remained wearing masks till the end of school. Ryan coached t ball at Marne Little league with Caleb and Leo ended up playing too. We had some nice evenings watching those boys play and have fun together! Caleb's pants were always a bit too short!
