One of trips the kids look forward to the most. We love Dunes Harbor and always seem to have fun time and memories there. Since the camping trip before this was such a bust we tried to fit in a lot over a few days!

Hill and Hollow Camping

Our camping trip to Hill and Hollow Campground in Pentwater started out fun and with beautiful weather. Grandpa and Grandma Koopmans came out for a visit and we went to the hidden channel area near Bass Lake. It went down hill from there. Maci ended up in Urgent Care on Monday night with a 102 fever..then in the next day and half all kids had made trip to the Ludington urgent care. Each with high fevers and suspected strep throat on antibiotics. We had a crazy time packing up the trailer, getting our refund and coming home at 1030 at night. Maci and Levi also threw up in the car too.  It was the best thing to be home be disappointing that we had to end our time very early. It will be a trip to remember for sure.

Binder Park Zoo

Caleb has been asking for a long time to see a "real live giraffe." So for his fourth birthday we took a day trip to Binder Park Zoo. We had a great time and it was a perfect day for the zoo, cooler and not so hot. We did a lot of walking but enjoyed seeing a new zoo and some different animals.
