Mommy's Helper

Caleb spends a lot of time shopping and running errands with me. He loves to be independent and will strongly say "me do!" This morning he wanted to carry his own bag of cans to the can return at the store. Good thing I had an extra plastic bag to put a few cans in for him otherwise he would have been upset! He also loves to carry a truck or car with him whenever he is out and about.

Bob the Builder

Caleb loves "Bob". He loves to watch "Bob" in the mornings, and then he soon requests his glass of "orange" juice to go with his relaxing routine.

Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree super early this year November 19.  It has lasted so far, about a month with not so frequent watering. It was the first day the tree farm opened with just enough snow to start to think about Christmas and not Thanksgiving. I got cancelled from work so it was a good afternoon to go. It was a quick trip because it was so windy and cold. Luke got to place the star this year and Levi was excited and ready to cut the string from around the tree. The kids love looking at all the ornaments we have collected so far. Good thing our tree is big because we have a lot of handmade crafts to make sure fit!

Random Fall Happenings 2016

It was a beautiful night to go out Trick or Treating. No rain and not cold, very mild. The best weather it seems in years, The kids had a great time and filled their buckets to the brim. Caleb went to a couple of scary houses and then came back to our house to help pass out candy. He recognized some of the costumes and got our candy bucket ready when the kids came to our house. He liked wagging his doggy tail.

Pioneer Park Camping

We went camping this past weekend despite the raining forecast we had a lot of fun. We spent some time taking cover in from the rain in trailer. No leaks from the roof or from water lines this time so that was a positive. While it rained, we watched movies, colored, listened to music and relaxed. Once the rain stopped we were able to go ride bikes, check out the playground, decorate pumpkins, bounce house, and go trick or treating! Also had a small detour to Discount Tire to remove a screw from the tire and then went to Wendy's for supper. The kids loved sleeping in the bunks and we tried the shower in the trailer too which was exciting for them and convenient for us. The kids were tired but we were able to rest on Sunday to catch up for the week. Lots of team work for Ryan and I for clean up after but we were able to get it all done once again!
