Winter Mornings..

Mornings are a little busy getting Levi off to school and getting all the kids set for the day. We are getting into more of a set routine now that school is half done and Caleb is a little more predictable. Levi is very independent in what he has to do and he is getting to know what time it is and when he needs to go outside on the bus. After Levi leaves at 750 or so Caleb is usually ready for his first nap and the kids and I read a devotion while finish my coffee and they pick at their breakfast..:)

Love getting new Library books and looking through them

Getting snow gear on!

Do you want to build a Snowman?

A couple of Sunday's ago Maci and I had a fun time building Olaf in our front yard. She was so excited to do this with me. I guess that proves that I need to bundle up and get outside more!  She wanted so many pictures and so took them for her and will post them all. :)

Finishing Touches were the flags and the Detroit Tigers hat!

Caleb Jack 6 Months!

Another month has flown by! Caleb is still working on getting those two bottom teeth. He loves to be held and seems to have some anxiety about not being held or interacted with. But if he is held or played with he is content. He is babbling and has found his screaming voice. He loves to say Da Da. He can grab his toes and is close to rolling over. His feet can keep him entertained for quiet some time! Lately, he loves to watch Luke and when Maci is at school Luke takes over as his buddy. Luke will read books with him and play cars with "his baby, Caylub". His naps haven't been the best lately, but he is still sleeping through the night so we will take that. He started eating baby food and there has not been a food that he has not liked. He has no problem eating one jar at a time. It will be fun to see how much he weighs at his 6 month check up since he is in 9-12 month clothes!

Christmas 2014

We had a fun time in anticipation of Christmas this year. Maci and Levi  both bought home paper rings from school as count down and we had been doing an Advent count down and Bible stories with that each night too. We went out to tour Christmas lights on a couple of different nights and they got so excited looking at all the different colors and set ups. The kids go back and forth on whether Santa is real or not and it's fun to keep them guessing. We made cookies and put out reindeer food on Christmas Eve . Tradition as of the last couple of years is to eat pizza and watch Polar Express in our sleeping bags by the tree on Christmas Eve too. The kids get so excited for this! It is fun to see their excitement hopefully this lasts for a while.  We opened presents a little early because of me having to work on Christmas but we told the kids Santa comes early to houses where mom's and dad's have to work on Christmas. They did not seem to care. :) We had a fun morning eating our Christmas breakfast and just staying in our pjs, and playing all day with the toys the kids got. We were all kind of bummed though because we didn't have a white Christmas, not even a snow flake fell. Christmas break has been a little different with no snow to play in with Dada.

Maci's Days

When Maci is not at preschool on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons she is usually helping me with Caleb or in the kitchen with me. We try to make something each week together. We also play games and color together. She is my special girl. She is also a great playmate to both Levi and Luke. Luke will wake up in the morning looking for Maci to play with.
We made homemade cinnamon rolls to freeze.

Homemade rolls from bread maker. Luke calls the bread maker the "dough monster"

Maci wanted to be all purply with purple chapstick

Preschool Christmas program. She sang her heart out to Jesus!

Caleb 5 Months

Wow! Where has the time gone. The newborn baby phase is quickly leaving us. Sad in a way to see the last baby growing up and so fast. It seems like with each baby time has gone progressively faster! Caleb is sleeping through the night and loving his rice cereal. He loves to be rocked and wrapped in his blanket he will take up to 8oz of milk each night before bed. He enjoys watching us eat supper and being involved in watching the family. Caleb likes to be entertained and is getting frustrated when he can not grab something or put it in his mouth. He loves to kick and will smile at any one. He is a happy baby that constantly has his fist in his mouth..hopefully he pops those bottom teeth soon. Luke is now becoming protective of him wondering where he his and calling him "my bruther". Maci loves to help with even feeding him the cereal. She is a wonderful help and has got it down to a science. What a great 4 year old!

First time with cereal, Maci loves to help

Loves to sit up high and watch the happenings around him

Not a huge fan of the bumbo seat, usually cries when in it.

Loves bath time with the older kids
