The other morning I got such a kick out of Maci. I was in such a rush to get Levi to school and she is just enjoying getting ready, combing her hair, chap stick, washing her hand and face, brushing her teeth..with her princess toothbrush..It was precious to me and stressful and even though I really did not have time I took some pictures of her. She also was singing King of Kings and Lord of Lords...Hallelujah and that made me smile.

One on One Time With Levi

Most afternoons when Luke and Maci are napping I really try to spend some time with Levi by himself. We usually play a game and have a special snack or drink. Lately, he loves rootbeer.  After all the rain we had it finally got warmer and sunny. We spend some afternoons on the front stoop playing cards and laughing at silly jokes. He gets excited when the mail man comes and waves at him and he can get the mail. Then soon enough we wait and look for Daddy.  Levi is getting too big and I am really trying to treasure the time I have with him at home...at least most days...:)

March Weekend

Levi was in Jake's wedding on March 15. He was the Bible carrier. He did not really like getting his picture taken or walking down the isle. We tried all sorts of ways during the rehersal, him walking by himself, Ryan taking his hand  and both the kids together.  During the wedding, he made it down to his prize at the end of the isle with Ryan's help..pushing his along the way. He was so proud of himself and Ryan and I laughed..we were proud too.

On Saturday, I took Maci to the butterfly ballet at Meijer Gardens. We had breakfast at Grandma Roedema's and then went with Alexa and Kristin to the show. Katelyn was sick so Allison and her could not make it. We had a fun time watching the girls as all the different characters came on stage. Maci was afraid of the frog dancers at first but then afterward wanted to get her picture taken with them. Maci wore her ballerina dress there and was twirling and dancing with the music as it came on. She really enjoyed this show.

Luke 10 months old

Luke is 10 months old..WOW..we cannot believe that he is growing up so fast. He is now moving..not in a standard crawling way but more army crawl..no pulling up on things yet.  He gets cheered on to go..Luke go...you can do it..by both Levi and Maci.Luke officially has his top four teeth through and seems more content at night..not waking up at night this week at all. He is exploring with his army crawling and loves the vacuum. His hair is getting a little out of control but I will not cut it yet. Luke is waving bye..bye and will do so big with his arms. We are all looking forward to being able to bring him outside for walks and to the park. We did get outside one afternoon last week and went on a swing ride and he loved it...Maci sits on the swing next to him and says..look Lukie we go high! What a big smile he had on his face..!
