Movie Night

Friday night is usually movie night and popcorn! This past Fridays pick was Dumbo.

Levi's Field Trip To FMG

Levi and I had a fun and sunny day to go to Meijer Gardens and see the butterflies. Each day of the week till the end of school the class gets to go on a special outing celebrating a letter. This trip was for the letter B for butterflies. I was so glad I could go since it was on a Friday, I did not have to work and the other kids went to daycare. It was nice to talk to other moms and dads and see how Levi K. interacts with all his friends from school.  It was a wild time and a wild bus ride but fun too!

Loved playing in the maze

Funny Class shot

Didn't know the butterfly was on his back..got a little nervous

Zoo Trip

I think this trip to John Ball Zoo was one of the easiest and most fun with all the kids, since Caleb has been born. It was such a nice day so we just did a really quick trip through the park and came home in time for lunch and naps, of course.

Sam's Club Trip

Always good to document real life. We even had lunch there..waiting for their hot dogs. It is getting easier bringing all three out and about but it always seems to be an adventure to them! I guess we really don't go anywhere too exciting and Maci is such a big helper.

Kite Flying

We had a nice sunny and windy Sunday. I had bought the kids each a kite after Easter so we went to the park to fly them. A few tangles in the trees, of course, but they had fun watching how high they could go.

Muddy Buddy

We went to the park today and there were puddles. I told Luke to go play in them and he had a blast. He was cold when he got home but he said that he had fun in his puddles with his boots on!

Caleb 9 months

He keeps growing! Time is going to fast. Caleb is still not mobile but he makes up for that in his loud voice.  He gets to have crawling practice with Ryan most afternoons when Ryan gets home from school. Caleb does not like laying on his stomach...he hates it. He gets mad but Ryan makes him reach for his toys. Caleb is beginning to interact and notice who is around him. He  gets so excited when he wakes up and greets the kids with flapping his arms, smiling, and babbling. He babbles mamma, and dadaa. Maci thinks he says hi to her in the morning. Now that it's warmer we go out and see Levi get on and off the bus. Caleb can wave bye bye and can do so big. He likes remotes and his exersaucer. He eats all meals with us..really does not care for baby food any more he would rather have what we are eating. He is such a happy boy. The other day we were able to go to the park for the first time and ride the swings. He loved it! Caleb finally got his first upper tooth.

Tired out of crawling.

Waiting for Levi to get off the bus, with his snack.

Looking like more red hair shinning through!

Doing puzzles

Looks serious, Looks like Maci here I think.

Working with Daddy

A couple of Saturdays ago, Levi and Maci helped Ryan replace the old wood from our garden. Hopefully soon we can start figuring out what to plant and see what we can make grow.

Easter 2015

Sibling Love

A few weeks ago Levi told me before he went to bed that he wanted to do something nice for his only sister, Maci. He told me that he wanted to go to Meijers and buy her some flowers and a stuffed animal. He waited all week and on Saturday we went and he picked up a purple plant just for her and used his own money to buy this for her. Maci was so surprised and gave him a big hug. The still want to sleep together in the same bed, we had to limit that to just weekends. The other weekend, I went to check on them and they were whispering stories to each other and Levi was scratching Maci's back. I know this won't last forever so I am going to try to remember the bond they have right now.
