Luke's Baptism

Levi waited a long time for cake. He wanted the flower and the cross frosting.

Luke was baptized this past Sunday. The day was also shared with Wesley. What a special day to celebrate these boys and the blessings of family. Levi and Maci did well up front..a little restless but no fighting..or talking which was good.  :) We had a lunch in the church basement afterward with both sides of the family. Casey had a nice prayer before we ate lunch. We will continue to raise Luke in our home to love and serve Jesus.. We all were tired out after a busy morning. Luke took a long nap that afternoon.

Levi loves helping daddy in the garage. This past month or so they have been tinkering after supper on a project together. Ryan and Levi will go out in the garage and have been building a wooden semi truck with a trailer. Ryan found the instructions on line and Levi approved it. It turned out awesome! I think that they were both pretty proud of them selves. They even painted it together. What an great memory to have. After they were done Maci asked...where's my truck dadda?

Monkeys and Bucket Heads

Levi and Maci call each other "my Friend". Maci will cry when Levi goes to school and say she misses her friend. They will play "friends" together in the afternoon. Hopefully this last awhile they do really love each other but will also fight each other too. Here they are going  "loco"( as they call it ) jumping and dancing on our bed.

Luke Is 4 months Old

Luke is getting so big! Lately he has been drooling alot so the bibs are on daily to keep the wet off and he loves putting his hands in his mouth. He also has been smiling and laughing. Levi and Maci are both really good at getting him to let out a laugh. Luke is finding his voice and has been "talking" and also screeching. He can be loud and Levi and Maci love that he is starting to interact with them more. Luke loves his bottles and has been taking so much formula 6-8 oz at a time. I did try some rice cereal the other day to see if that would fill him up but he did not seem to thrilled about it. Luke's 4 month appointment is not till later this month and I would be interested to see what he weighs. Ryan thinks close to 17 lbs. He can't really fit into the 3 month outfits so we will see. Luke loves being in on the action and would rather be sitting up looking around then laying down. He is getting more used to the Bumbo chair and will try to grasp toys on the tray. He is very easy to make smile. He is not very good at naps these days and will not take a pacifier. We are working on falling sleep with out a bottle but that is hard to do, especially when he eats every 2 hours during the day!

Projects and Pictures

Science project,  Food colored vinegar and baking soda with medicine droppers. Loved the fizzing colors.

Levi's latest drawing..boycotting naps.

I let Maci color on the glass slider while Levi  is at preschool with dry erase markers and this keeps her busy for an hour, erasing and  saying "look mama..I make picture."

Maci loves pink and making circles.

Circus

A few weeks ago Levi and Daddy went to the circus with Uncle Dan and Collin. Grandma Koopmans got them some free tickets. I was working so it was nice for Ryan and Levi to go together. It turned into quite an ordeal I hear as Levi wanted the snow cone tiger cup for 14.00 and also a toy motorcycle hearing no to these things was not good for Levi. Ryan said there was a lot of crying and carrying on and that Levi was dragged out of the arena and people were staring at them. The crying and carrying on went on almost the whole way home.lets just say Ryan won't be taking Levi to the circus in the near future..:) But they did have a good time before all the fuss. Levi said he liked the tigers the best and now he and Maci play tigers together.
